Mark was born and raised in central Georgia where he accredits his grandfather for instilling his passion for the outdoors and hunting. Since he was seven years old carrying a toy shotgun around while his grandfather was bird hunting. Mark dreamed of a career in the hunting industry. In 2002 his lifelong dream was realized when he founded one of the Midwest’s premier whitetail deer hunting operations. Midwest Whitetail Adventures specializes in giant whitetail deer in the heart of Kansas.

Mark has had the fortunate opportunity to hunt many celebrities including: Chuck Adams, Larry Weisum, Michael Waddell, Ryan Klesko, JT Hardin, Jason Irish and John and Gina Brunson.

Mark has always enjoyed filming his hunts. He has been featured on Southern Wood and Water TV, Addicted to the Outdoors with John and Gina Brunson. He has spent the last three years as a pro-staffer for Hardcore Hunting TV. Mark has thrown around the idea about having his own hunting show for the several years. In 2013, Mark decided it was time to make that dream a reality and partnered up with Jason Irish to bring you Dirt Road Outdoors TV.

Mark is happily married to Beth and ironically enough their first date was hunting deer in the Georgia woods. Mark has four children, Ryan, Morgan, Landon and Luke.

Jason was born and raised in Chatfield, Minnesota. From the time he could walk he tagged along with his dad hunting, trapping, and fishing. At a young age he fell in love with the outdoors and often dreamt of being part of outdoor television hunting. In the fall of 1999, Jason purchased his first video camera, and from there his dreams turned into reality. In the fall of 2001 Jason got his big break when Mark Drury saw some of the footage that Jason and his hunting partner had captured and became Drury Outdoor team members.

Jason spent eight years videoing for Drury Outdoors, where he appeared on the first ever seasons of Bow Madness, Wildlife Obsession, and Dream Season. In the summer of 2008, Jason moved over to Hardcore Hunting TV and Grand Slam Adventures to be more involved with day to day operations. After five years co-hosting Hardcore Hunting TV, Jason decided it was time to produce his own TV show. He partnered up with Mark Knight with Midwest Whitetail Adventures to bring you Dirt Road Outdoors TV.

Jason is happily married to Corinne and has two beautiful daughters Lelaina and Milly.
